Tim’s Charity funds support for all those affected by terminal illness, including the family.

Why Tim’s.

Tim was only 36 when he died. Until his diagnosis he had been fit and healthy, very happily married to Mia and a wonderful father to their two beautiful boys. Life was going well but in May of 2008 tragedy struck. Tim was diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma and died 6 months later.

When Tim died the family decided to set up a charity in his memory to raise money for other sarcoma sufferers and their families who are tragically suffering similar experiences to those which we experienced.

Here at Tim’s our aim is to channel all the emotions (of which there are many) we have into something positive – that way Tim will not have left us for nothing.

The reality is that when a loved one is diagnosed with a terminal illness unless you have previously experienced it you presume that help will be provided, on hand when it is needed. This, sadly is not always the case – it seems there just isn’t the funding available for this kind of care.

So Tim’s Charity‘s mission is to fund support for all those affected by terminal illness, including the family.
